A New National Champion Will Be Crowned

Legion Baseball

American Legion Baseball will officially crown a new champion, as defending national champion Midland, Michigan was ousted from the Great Lakes Regional Tournament this afternoon.

Midland, who defeated Medford, Oregon in the national championship last year, was downed 10-6 by Terre Haute, Indiana.  They finish their impressive run with a 2-2 record in the Great Lakes Regional, and an overall record of 46-12.

Terre Haute is the same team who eliminated PA runner-up Pennridge yesterday.

Stay tuned for more coverage from national regionals from across the country!
