Glen Rock, which competes in Region Four's York County League, will begin its season this coming weekend with an away game at Stewartstown. Glen Rock will play fourteen games this year as part of its league schedule. The team's full schedule is linked below.

The six team Lebanon County League will begin play on June 1. Last year, Campbelltown dominated both the regular season and the playoffs, finishing a combined 17-1 against Lebanon County foes. There will be a few team changes in Region 4 play this summer. Northeastern will be rejoining the York County League this season. Biglerville will be leaving that league to join the Franklin County League, also in Region 4.

In game 9, the first game of the day, Southwestern York ended Enola's season with a 9-2 victory. SW York went on the offensive for the win, hitting four home runs to move to (20-3) on the season.
The next loser's bracket game pitted the host, Hanover, against Campbelltown. Campbelltown was able to erase a 3-0 deficit to storm back and out Hanover from the tournament, 6-3. ...Read Full Post »

The first day of the Region Four Tournament in Hanover is in the books. The first game saw York County champ Southwestern knock off Lancaster County rep Strasburg-Willow Street by a score of 6-3. Lancaster County champ Penn Manor stayed undefeated on the season by beating Enola 10-3. Following a four run first, Upper Dauphin went on to beat Campbelltown 10-1. Host Hanover dropped Franklin Country champ Greencastle 6-5 in the day's final matchup.Read Full Post »

Fredericksburg stayed alive Saturday night in the Lebanon County playoffs at the expense of Annville. Fredericksburg won the loser's bracket contest 9-7. Today's action continues with another elimination game between Fredericksburg and Myerstown. Undefeated Campbelltown awaits the survivor in the league's championship round. A trip to Hanover for the Region Four tournament is at stake.

Following Saturday's quarterfinal games, four teams remain alive in the single-elimination York County playoffs. Pleasureville beat Hanover 9-6, and will play at Spring Grove, which defeated Red Lion. To seed Southwestern York knocked out Glen Rock 5-2 and Suburban York eliminated New Oxford by a 9-4 count. The season is still in its early stages, but New Oxford couldn't be happier with the way they have jumped out of the gate. The team from Region 4's York County is already 4-0 in league play, with several shutouts to their credit.
Over the past several weeks, New Oxford has defeated Stewartstown 7-1, Dover 7-0, and Pleasureville 2-0.

Fredericksburg’s Earl Wenger Field was the site of the 2009 Region Four Tournament.
